Torneo del Futuro is proud to welcome one of the most ambitious clubs of the world. It is only a few years since Roman Abramovich acquired Chelsea Football Club, with the ambition to become the best club in the world.
Tonight the club can make a very big step in order to achieve this dream, when playing versus Liverpool in the ¼ finals of the Champions League! Of course the fans in the Netherlands will watch the match with a special eye, since Holland’s pride, Guus Hiddink, is their “parttime” coach!
Chelsea did not just invest a lot of money into great players for their first team, but also appointed top executives, trainers, scouts and invested in a fantastic state of the art youth center! Currently all youth teams of Chelsea can be found in the top of the leagues in England.
It will be the first time that Chelsea FC will attend Torneo del Futuro and we are positive that the fans will enjoy watching the future of Chelsea!
