Torneo del Futuro has had a special friend since the day that the initiative of the tournament was finalized (2006), and he remained a friend over the past years: Shota Arveladze. Great player and football lover! Torneo asked if Shota could arrange for the best team from Georgia to perform at Torneo 2009 and he has kept his promise to do so. The Arveladze foundation selected the best Georgian players throughout the country and they will perform under the national football federation’s name: Georgian FF. The team has been practicing for months now in order to play as a team and stand up against the top clubs of the world during the tournament’s weekend. Faith, good play and fun are keywords to take that trophy home! The spectator at Torneo will get to see some top-quality football maneuvers from Georgia at Torneo!
